Before the broadcast

Make sure you have the following:

  • laptop or desktop with a webcam and mic.
  • A recent version of Chrome or Firefox.
  • A strong internet connection. Just like Skype, you must have a strong internet connection for it to work well. If possible, connect to your router with an ethernet cable instead of using WiFi.
  • We recommend wearing earbuds or headphones to prevent audio echoes.

  1. Enter a display name. Use your actual name and organisation you’re representing. Then enter the studio.

We will know that you’ve arrived. You won’t be part of the broadcast until we decide to add you in. The page will update to let you know when you’ve been added.

You can chat in the backstage area and prepare your slides.

Once we let you on the main stage everyone will be able to see and hear you. Note that there is a 10-15 second delay from the backstage to to the attendees.

NOTE THERE IS A 10-15 SEC DELAY FROM WHAT IS PRESENTED LIVE ON THE BACKSTAGE. TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS TO YOUR AUDIENCE.

This is your time to shine!
